John 3:16-18

For God So Loved the World

16For aGod so loved bthe world,
Or  For this is how God loved the world
dthat he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not eperish but have eternal life.
17For fGod did not send his Son into the world gto condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 hWhoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not ibelieved in the name of the only Son of God.

John 5:24

24Truly, truly, I say to you, jwhoever hears my word and kbelieves him who sent me has eternal life. He ldoes not come into judgment, but mhas passed from death to life.

Acts 13:38-39

38Let it be known to you therefore, brothers, nthat through this man oforgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, 39and by him peveryone who believes is freed

Galatians 2:16

16yet we know that sa person is not justified
Or counted righteous (three times in verse 16); also verse 17
by works of the law ubut through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, vbecause by works of the law no one will be justified.

Galatians 3:11-14

11Now it is evident that wno one is justified before God by the law, for x“The righteous shall live by faith.”
Or The one who by faith is righteous will live
12But the law is not of faith, rather z“The one who does them shall live by them.” 13Christ aaredeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for usfor it is written, abCursed is everyone who is hanged acon a tree”— 14so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might adcome to the Gentiles, so that aewe might receive afthe promised Spirit

through faith.

Galatians 3:25

25But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian,

Galatians 5:4-6

4You are ahsevered from Christ, aiyou who would be justified
Or counted righteous
by the law; akyou have fallen away from grace.
5For through the Spirit, by faith, we ourselves eagerly alwait for the hope of righteousness. 6For in Christ Jesus amneither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but anonly faith working through love.

Philippians 3:9

9and be found in him, not having aoa righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but apthat which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith
